Thanks for the suggestions guys, they look great. I do remember that it was DD I used last time and I had the aforementioned networking issues with the duplicate card, however, this may have been something I was doing wrong at the time so I will now give it another go and see what happens.

It also does not work well if 2 different sizes of Cf card are used. Do not get this backward, of course, or you can wind up with 2 blank CF cards, or worse, a blank hard disk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
