Thank you for your reply; as I have since found out, there are better
ways for me to have done this. I originally followed the extLinux
configuration originally, because it looked less involved. Yesterday I
went through the non-extLinux procedure, and was able to boot up without
an issue. From what I can tell, I'm set to install/configure
applications now.
