Hi Mike
I have no idea how to build from scratch but you can easy customize with
shell script.
That's the way I do.
You can install voyage for example on an cf card make a tar file of
that to play arround.
I install everything I can from my normal linux system which is
opensuse10.3 (old ones
suse 9.0, suse9.3...).
What I do is copy all needed config file lile /etc/hosts, wpa_supplicant
config files, passwd files etc.
to the mounted filesystem from the cf card. After that I copy all debian
packages to a directory on the cf card.
If done so I do a change root to the root system of this cf card and
than I delete and install
the neede packages with dpkg.
Maybe voyage customizing is more elegant but I don't know it so...
Greetings and good luck
Beat

Greetings!
Are there instructions someplace that describe the step-by-step
techniques for rebuilding Voyage from scratch? The Wiki only talks
about the possibility of using a scipting approach. I need to do a
bit of customization to get it down to size and add some extra
packages. Also, is there a packaging tool for Voyage? Dpkg, ipkg,
apt-get, maybe?
TIA,
Mike
