Just wanted to let you know about my try to use Voyage Linux with an
Option GTM378 (UMTS/HDSPA/...) card on an ALIX 6b board.
If anybody is interested, I wrote also an script to control the setup of
the interface, i can provide it.
I'm very interested in getting your scripts to get it up and running.
At the moment, I have a running 2.6.27 kernel for the voyage linux and compiled
in the hso module, which will be loaded correctly (at least dmesg tells me) and
I disabled the leds-alix module. Any hint for me at the moment?
I thought the HSO driver was included in 2.6.27 kernel so you don't have
to install it yourself.
I'm running 2.6.26.x kernel (the image from Voyage) with the HSO 1.5
driver from pharscape.org with an option GTM382 card which should work
in the same way as your GTM378. For some reason, wvdial didn't work
here with this card (however it does with an Option Globetrotter PCMCIA
card in a laptop) but the connect script in the hso package does.
I also created a .deb file with this driver for 2.6.26-voyage. If
you're interested, I can mail it to you.
Peter
