Hi Marco, possible tools to be installed would be:
cpudyn - CPU dynamic frequency control for processors with scaling cpufreqd - fully configurable daemon for dynamic frequency and voltage scaling cpufrequtils - utilities to deal with the cpufreq Linux kernel feature libcpufreq-dev - development files to deal with the cpufreq Linux kernel feature powernowd - control cpu speed and voltage using 2.6 kernel interface powersaved - power management daemon The modules which will would have to be activated in the Kernel would be (among others): cpufreq_ondemand, cpufreq_userspace, cpufeq_powersave what I don't know is if the Alix AMD processor will let you change its frequency. * any of you guys have tried it? * regards.
