I had similar problem when using qemu for booting voyage for testing.
May be you can supply "*all_generic_ide" *in kernel parameter.

Hi,
Thanks for the help, but still no luck. Volume is called
ROOT_FS and I tried changing kernel parameter to
"root=/dev/hda" and "root=/dev/hda1" no luck.
Any other ideas?
