Hi, I've been trying to get an ALIX box with a fresh Voyage install to complete 'apt-get update' for past couple of days and it always fails to complete. The remote connection tends to get disconnected a number of times and finally hits a gzip error.
Changing Voyage's default /etc/apt/sources.list from ftp.hk.debian.org to ftp.debian.org gets me pass the gzip error. Anybody here know how best get ftp.hk.debian.org mirror fixed (who to contact?). Would it be possible for default Voyage install have more fallback server locations? --8<-- Get:1 http://security.debian.org etch/updates Release.gpg [189B] Hit http://security.debian.org etch/updates Release Ign http://security.debian.org etch/updates/main Packages/DiffIndex Get:2 http://ftp.hk.debian.org etch Release.gpg [386B] Get:3 http://www.voyage.hk ./ Release.gpg [189B] Get:4 http://www.voyage.hk ./ Release.gpg [189B] Hit http://security.debian.org etch/updates/main Packages Hit http://ftp.hk.debian.org etch Release Hit http://www.voyage.hk ./ Release Hit http://www.voyage.hk ./ Release Ign http://www.voyage.hk ./ Packages/DiffIndex Ign http://www.voyage.hk ./ Packages/DiffIndex Ign http://www.voyage.hk ./ Packages Ign http://www.voyage.hk ./ Packages Hit http://www.voyage.hk ./ Packages Hit http://www.voyage.hk ./ Packages Ign http://ftp.hk.debian.org etch/main Packages Get:5 http://ftp.hk.debian.org etch/main Packages [5620kB] gzip: stdin: not in gzip format Err http://ftp.hk.debian.org etch/main Packages Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1) Failed to fetch http://ftp.hk.debian.org/debian/dists/etch/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1) Fetched 5B in 37s (0B/s) Reading package lists...
