Well, that indeed works because /home is owned by root. But if I only want to have the /home/someuser/somefolder, owned by someuser, inside tmpfs, then after aufs mount, it is no longer owned by someuser but by root instead. Currently I fixed this by chowning from rc.local, but I was wondering if there is a more elegant solution.
