Hi,
That is simple, edit /etc/network/interfaces with the followings:
iface ath0 inet dhcp
madwifi-base wifi0
wireless-mode Managed
wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
Then run ifup ath0.

Ya I am using STA mode. what do you do since wpa_supplicant doesn't
use madwifi in 0.6.1? And where does wpa_supplicant actually get run?
I think I'm still a little confused how to set up the interfaces to
use dhcp. All the examples i've seen are static.

are talking about STA. I follow exactly the same the wiki page
described and I can use wpa_supplicant on voyage 0.6.1 (pre) to
connect to associate to my home server running hostapd w/ WPA.

kernel and I can't get it to work. I've read through the README and
followed the instructions for uncommenting the lines in
/etc/network/interfaces. Is there anything else I need to do? The
README doesn't specify how to setup ath0 using dhcp or wpa encryption.
Any help would be appreciated.
