Ward,
I can't recall if it is the same problem I had long ago. If you run
hostapd with madwifi, my old iBook cannot associate to it until I set
eapol_version=1 in hostapd.conf.
The source package takes me some time to repackage. I directly patch
the module source with the 2.6.26 patch and build.
Meanwhile, you can download
http://www.voyage.hk/dists/0.5/madwifi/madwifi-source_0.9.4~rc2-1_all.deb
and apply changeset r3696.

Punky

That was the error I was getting before installing the kernel that Punky

My Alix machine has been pretty stable for a week now.
Oh, thanks for that, you're right! That got rid of the memory region message.
Now I'm back to "WPA: EAPOL-Key timeout" issues after "WPA: sending 3/4 msg
of 4-Way Handshake" :/
Thanks,
Ward.
