I've been trying to install voyage on an old neoware thin client, however I

(initramfs) _

In initramfs prompt, please type "cat /proc/partitions". This will show if the kernel could be able to detect your drive or not. If not, please send the "dmesg" and "lspci -v" output to the list.

Also please read section 6.4 of README. Try adding "ide=nodma all_generic_ide" to kernel boot parameters to if it could help.

Please note that Voyage Linux kernel is trimmed down many modules that some ide drivers are not included.
