I'm having trouble running asterisk 1.6.2.10 when voyage-linux 0.6.5 is in read-only mode. Nevertheless, I added the folder ~/asterisk-bin/run/asterisk to VOYAGE-SYNC_DIRS. On starting asterisk, the folder ~/asterisk-bin/run/asterisk gets populated with asterisk.ctl and asterisk.pid. But when I try to connect to asterisk with 'asterisk -rvvv', I get the error:

== Parsing '/home/asterisk/asterisk-bin/asterisk/asterisk.conf': == Found == Parsing '/home/asterisk/asterisk-bin/asterisk/extconfig.conf': == Found Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /home/asterisk/asterisk-bin/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)

On boot, voyage-linux also fails to go into read-only mode, stating 'Remounting / as read-only ... mount: / is busy '

Whenever I put voyage-linux in read-write mode and start asterisk manually, asterisk doesn't show this error any more. I have tried putting the folder on a separate, read-write partition, but it was no use, except again in read-write mode.

Is there some other file/folder which needs to be read-write? Is there some workaround? (This should be the last step in getting asterisk to work on voyage-linux...)
