Would it be reasonable to enable SMP either in general or for an ATOM version

Hi Edwin,
SMP is enabled in 64-bit kernel (amd64 port), which should run well on ATOM.
Voyage ONE and MPD kernels, which is 2.6.33rt i386, is also compiled with SMP
enabled.
I have been thinking about adding SMP to i386 kernels. But since I have 64-bit kernel with SMP enabled, I dropped the
idea. I will bring SMP to i386 kernel until majority of users is using multicore CPU boards.
Perhaps another way is to build another set of i386 SMP kernel. But it would
be too costly for me.
