I'm running voyage 7.0 on CF card. I'm using 'vi' as an editor. I can open/read/write to my 'fstab' file but the 'mpd.conf' file always opens as 'read-only' and can't be edited. I've used the 'remountrw' command and back to 'remountro' but it doesn't make a difference. I've 'stopped' the mpd daemon. I'm logged in as 'root' in the console. I've also tried logging in as another user and changed the 'mpd.conf' file ownership to that user using 'chown'. It still opens the file as 'read only'.
It seems like I'm missing something very simple but I couldn't find anyone else with this issue while searching past posts so....I'm asking for any suggestions why 'mpd.conf' only opens as 'read-only' and can't be edited. -- View this message in context: http://voyage-linux.34677.n3.nabble.com/mpd-conf-opens-as-read-only-can-t-be-edited-tp2875873p2875873.html Sent from the Voyage Linux mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Voyage-linux mailing list [email protected] http://list.voyage.hk/mailman/listinfo/voyage-linux
