My problem is similar. Voyage 0.7 installed on a 2GB CF card using the script in the tar ball. Target hardware is ALIX. System boots fine with / in ro mode. I do a "remountrw" and / is mounted in rw mode. I then make some changes e.g. /etc/network/interfaces.
