Hi David,
If you have time, please test 2.6.38 kernel, which should have included the kernel modules you need. Let me know your
result, as this kernel will be included in Voyage Linux 0.7.5 release (due end June).

Hi Punky,
It would be great if you could put the modules into the next voyage kernel. Show below is the output of an lsmod on a
2.6.32-5-686 kernel. I believe that the key modules are:
rndis_wlan, rndis_host, cdc_ether, usbnet, cdc_acm, ohci_hcd, ehci_hcd
Thanks for your help also Gustin, I am currently working with the standard deb
kernel.
Cheers
Dave

Hi David,
Why do you so insist to use compat-wireless?
Yes, lsmod is what I want.

Punky

Hi Punky,
Just to confirm, you are saying that I should donwload and install deb squeeze in a VM, compile compat-wireless,
plug in my wireless dongle, do an 'lsmod' and provide you with a list of the kernel modules that are required to run
the hardware. Is this what you are wanting?
Thanks again for your time
Dave

Hi David,
Since you are using Voyage 0.7.0, I would recommend you to install stock debian squeeze kernel first. Once you've
got it run properly, please let me know what modules in voyage kernel is missing. I can arrange to add it in the
next release (due end June).
