Can you try again in Voyage Linux live cd daily build? I have also
changed to iso-hybrid CD type so that your could just "dd" the iso image
to USB stick and works.

With voyage it is not possible. I tried already.
I found out that therefore a new version syslinux is required.
Alternately the usb images can build maunally with a special program.
Such as unetbootin.
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
Booting from a usb Stick would be environmental friendly.
