Hello Hans,

For me this setup is working fine with local cover art. Just a few things to check:
- The file name is case sensitive. Folder.jpg is not the same as folder.jpg.
- With mpad when loading the library and images it seems to load the images from the other sources (or not at all if they are not available). Only when I click on an album and press 'reload cover' the local file is loaded. I'm sure it is just a setting somewhere but this seems to be the way it is working out of the box for me. - Make sure the root directory for both mpd and lighttpd is the same. Otherwise mpad and mpod will be looking in the wrong place.

Kind regards,

Maarten

Hi,

Here is a question about cover art.

Voyage Linux MPD is working great the only thing not working is cover art with Mpod and Mpad.

Every album is in a simple directory structure /artist/album

Besides the music tracks in every map "album" there is also a file named folder.jpg (the cover art).

I edited lighttpd.conf to /mnt/public as the file where my music is located.

With an other (Windows)PC I see (Internet Explorer) all the music at http://192.168.1.31 <http://192.168.1.31/> (the IP of my Voyage MPD computer).

So the lighttpd fileserver is working good. (I think).

In the Ipod setup for cover art I set : URL = http://192.168.1.31 <http://192.168.1.31/> file name folder.jpg.

In the Ipod setup, setup for albums is "per directory".

I tried to change everything but still do not see (local) cover art.

Could you explain how the above (simplest) system should work? (Or can it work?)

Maybe a simple setup or howto guide would be welcomed by many users.

Kind regards,

Hans
