Hi, all

I installed latest Voyage Linux (v0.8) on PC Engines ALIX6 board.

I have created a non-root user and I am logged in as one. Now, I want
to run 'su' command. Error I am getting is "Authentication failure'
and I am sure I am entering password correctly.
Did some research on the net and people suggest that problem is SUID
bit in /bin/su
So, I set this bit with chmod (from serial console).

Attempt to run 'su' results in different error:
setgid: Operation not permitted

/var/log/auth.log shows:
Dec 19 03:31:50 voyage su[3684]: Successful su for root by symstream
Dec 19 03:31:50 voyage su[3684]: + /dev/pts/1 symstream:root
Dec 19 03:31:50 voyage su[3684]: bad group ID `0' for user `root': Operation not
 permitted

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rudolf
