I can have 5 e-mail addresses and get my ISP server to forward them all to one
address.

Wash your mouth out! :-)
Personally I *like* small and simple. Next thing you'll be saying Windows
should be the standard bloat ware for others to emulate. Bigger is not always
better. What wins in the consumer wars is not always better. I like the idea
of small and lean programmes that interact well with other small and lean
programmes.
My motto is "Keep it simple stupid" or KISS.
Obviously I use Voyager to get access to the Internet, but why use such a big
programme for checking the mail? (Apologies to Ollie.) In fact if I have the
mail settings filled out I'm sure I would get more spam that way. Also it
could take longer for Voyager to load than for me to pick up my e-mail.
I can multi task with YAM quite usefully but I'd have to say that Voyager
really wants to be main dog on my system when it's running. (The back gadget
doesn't work when it's full size on the screen. - hmmm ... a sudden
thought... maybe I can fix that.)

I don't know what you're doing but I download ftp all the time with Voyager.
(More text files!) I just click and load or am I missing some aspect of
difficulty here?
