MiamiSSL 2.0 is available for download from www.nordicglobal.com.
This new release is the first SSL implementation for AmigaOS that
supports the SSL v3 and TLS v1 standards, which are required by some
newer web servers, in particular some web servers implementing "SGC"
("Server Gated Cryptography"). MiamiSSL 2.0 should be fully
compatible with these servers.
The requirements for MiamiSSL 2.0 are the same as for earlier
versions of MiamiSSL: you need a registered version of Miami 2.1
or higher or a registered version of Miami Deluxe, along with
keyfiles version 2 or higher. MiamiSSL 2.0 can be installed
"on top" of an earlier MiamiSSL installation.
Supported web browsers include current versions of VoyagerNG,
IBrowse and AWeb-II.
Note to US/Canadian users: the restrictions regarding RC4 have
NOT changed since earlier MiamiSSL versions, i.e. the use of
RC4 is still illegal within the US and Canada.
