I haven't had the time to try disabling very many of the "patches/enhancements" that I run on my miggy. I'll be doing that when I can. I'm also running things like FBlit (with the Voyager config entries removed), DynamiCache, HappyENV, FastIPrefs, CAPrefs (ClassAct), NewIcons & DefIcons. All the above listed stuff gets started from either the startup-sequence or user-startup file. Stuff that gets started from WBStartup drawer is RexxMast, SwazBlanker, TinyMeter, ToolsDaemon, and VirusZ. MCP is "catching" gurus from the V3 pre-release, but my whole system either hangs or gurus by simply starting up V3p1. The problems that MCP has reported so far are shown below: --------------------------------- Date : Sunday 25-Jul-99 21:06:39 Task : 0151E808 "V" Error : 80000004 (DEADEND) By : System Cause : Illegal instruction --------------------------------- Date : Sunday 25-Jul-99 21:09:57 Task : 0151E808 "V" Error : 80000004 (DEADEND) By : System Cause : Illegal instruction --------------------------------- Date : Sunday 25-Jul-99 21:12:06 Task : 013E0E28 "V" Error : 8000000B (DEADEND) By : System Cause : Line 1111 Emulator error --------------------------------- Date : Sunday 25-Jul-99 21:15:06 Task : 01193E30 "Workbench" Error : 80000004 (DEADEND) By : System Cause : Illegal instruction --------------------------------- The "Workbench" one is peculiar, but it was caused by starting up V3p1. Any ideas anyone???? In the mean time, is anyone successfully running the pre-release of Voyager 3 with a similar system to mine ???
