Indeed I do have a V3 keyfile. thanks for the explanation.

Great it works, but it's trying to remember to start them in the correct order
every time. Maybe the problem is with one of the bits of MUI. atm I don't
have the time to track this problem down as I've got too much other stuff to
do.
