Hi,
it appears that just the classes in the V3preX archives make
an incomplete TearOff installation, as the image classes
are missing.
I'm *suspecting* that this might be a cause for many of the
reported crashes, and it nicely explains why the nuke doesn't
happen here.
Please get the complete MCC_Tearoff.LZX (and the update file)
from http://amiga.com.pl/~szulat/ and install it, and check whether
V works better then.
For your convieniance, the archives are mirrored on ftp.vapor.com,
/pub/3rdpary/ (also on all of the Vapor mirror sites)
