I just installed apdf on my system (A3000/25, Retina Z3 graphics card)
to view pdf files. (Haven't set the MIME prefs in Voyager yet for it,
though.) Yes, I agree, I like the way it handles the font problem.
Although, it is /very,/ VERY slow decoding what with all the
conversions and such it has to do. I'm thinking about installing
Postscript fonts and related engine to improve the display (and speed,
maybe?).

I have Adobe Acrobat v2.1 on a little 25 MHz 486, 64 greyscale
subnotebook, that I use on the road, and it is about 15 times faster
(really! 23 secs to 330 secs) displaying the same file (about 290K: 2
- 8.5 x 11 pages) as apdf is on my Amiga. And the 486 doesn't even
have an FPU.

Oh, well, who said life was suppose to be fair?
