You assume much too much once more, my young friend!
I use my Amiga for 99.95% of all my computing at home,
which is daily for hours and hours. I fire up the
Pentium 200 about once a month when Lindsay is not
being bitchy about it (it is nominally hers and in
her room, and being a teenager, she gets huffy about
someone being in her room....)
Yes, I teach MAC usage at school, and use a Pentium
to do office stuff in the school, but I still have
two A500's set up in my classroom... and amazingly,
the kids still prefer to play stuff on there even
over most of the MACs, other than the latest 300 mhz
iMacs and Nanosaur....
No, you missed the mark when you imply that I do not
follow the Amiga info. I am on Pure Amiga daily, and check
all the news as it comes out. I also download all the
newest stuff from Aminet on a regular basis. I have
ZIPs and ZIPs filled with stuff I have downloaded from
there... close to 30 of the suckers!
As I have said time and time again, I will not give
up the Amiga until they pry it from my cold dead hands....

Totally aware of that too, but it is a total waste
of my time to try it on my machine. Best info I have
from those who use it, is that one needs at least an
o60 to make it start to work reasonably, and a PPC
to make it work right.
I am expecting to be able to afford the G4 in a year
or two, depending on when I get all my credit cards
paid off.
