After a recent session with V3p5 3.0.26 (10.10.99) at several Linux sites, caching FAQs to read later, I quit the program, but left my A3000 running, while I did several errands. On returning a couple of hours later and loading V3, it selectively deleted all the cached files from www.linux.org, which was most of the FAQs, but none of the other sites I had visited during the same session, including the other Linux sites. I have my cache set for 5 days between cleanups, Verify is always set to Never, and the Size is 4096K, the default. (I keep the cache this small to cut down of the load times for About:Cache.) V3 should have done nothing to the cache, since there were no files older than a one day in it. And the ones it did purge, were only about 2 hours old. The cache had 2 megs in it at the beginning of the session. (I'd manually "tidy'd" it the night before, since it had grown to over 6 megs. V3 has never auto-tidy'd.) I don't know exactly how much it was after I finished the Linux session, but certainly not more than 4 megs. After the auto-purge, the cache was a little over 2 megs. Anyone else had this happen? Or is it just me? The clock and date were working correctly. -- Patrick Bartek NoLife Polymath Group [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________________ Voyager Mailing List - Info & Archive: http://www.vapor.com/ For Listserver Help: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, "HELP" To Unsubscribe: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, "UNSUBSCRIBE"
