Hi. It appears that OS 3.5 has problems with ILBM images, particularly the ones used to show transfer animations. In my iBrowse config, I had it set up to use a 256 color AGA screen with a 256 colors transfer anim. However, in an effort to speed up the browser, I switched to a 128 color screen, but I left the transfer anim alone at 256. This is where the problems begin. While trying to surf, I get garbage all over the screen, followed by a complete system crash. The same thing happens when I set up Voyager 3 pre 5 in the same fashion (128 color screen, ??? color anim). The problem is not specifically related to 128/256 colors. It happens any time the number of screen colors does not match the number of colors that the anim uses. I fixed the problem in iBrowse by converting the anim to a 128 color GIF (by using GfxCon from Aminet). To make a long story short, ILBM troubles on my miggy.
