Maybe it has something to do with the 'Server sent MIME types', go to the 'Menu
/ Settings and set it to 'Ignore'

Menu 'General Settings' on the hyperlinks page make sure there is somethnig in
the 'File down load'; I use 'RAM:'

That's because; although they are in the 'Cache' drawer, they are not part of
the cache, as I understand it.

The package 'OpenURL', sounds like the thing you are after.

If you have a lot of questions on a subject, it's often better to send a mail to
the list for each question, as it makes it easier to sort out those questions to
which an answer is known. (I hope you don't find this reply patronising, as it
was not meant to be. :-)
