I thought it was covered here a while ago... but I will repeat
it again, at least as I understand it.
Most JS is ok, BUT the "big" guys, such as M$ and NS, tend to
create their own versions of the script... on an ongoing basis.
This creates zillions of locations out there that use those
two "standards" which will have non-standard code. As soon
as Olli, or anyone trying to code for JS out there on the Net,
gets things fixed for, say, December 15, by December 20 there
may be "new" things added that V or IB cannot read.
I guess it is a form of one-upmanship as far as those two
key contenders are concerned. And, because Olli or Stephan,
or Yvon are not part of that company, they have to start from
scratch to figure out what the "newest" standard is...
Hence, the Amiga browsers will probably always have some
difficulty with JS.... : (((
Depressing, eh?
