I'm sorry Julian but I think you are stuck. If you click on the link at
the word "Reminder" at the top of the login page, you are offered some
settings changes for M$ browsers, for IE 4 these settings include:
5. Still on the Advanced tab, under Java VM, select the option button Java
JIT Compiler Enabled.
So it would appear that, though it is not mentioned, Java is also required
in addition to Javascript and Cookie capability.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
There are several similar services out there. You might see if you can
find one you like.
I'll warn you about one though. Webbox works great with IBrowse, even
letting me upload files into the 20meg of free storage they provide, and
reading mail from up to 5 other accounts, however, V just locks up
everytime I log in. go figure...
