Having said that (and sent a bug-report too), Voyager decided today
that my cache is way too big (after rebooting, once again) and cropped
it to 11 megs (from 216).
So it works after all. I reckon that 30 day period had something to do
with it ("days between cleanups"). So it seems (once again) that it
was just my mistake, sorry if I've bothered anyone.
