A few probs:
1. Using Voyager 3.2.12, I have the Vapor page set as home page. I connect
and run & start Voyager, after which it will try to load the home page.
Pressing the 'stop' button does not work here, no matter how many times or
how forcibly I click. It keeps on loading the images etc. from the page.
When I click 'stop', isn't it supposed to stop building the page and getting
data?
2. (JS thing) On the page http://www.wanadoo.nl, the main page does not load
properly. I think in the official 3.2 it did load, but they may of course
have changed things on the site in the mean time. If I try to load it, it
loads a part of the page (the left and bottom frames are shown) and then
starts to flash, clearing the page and redisplaying the partial page again
and again. I cannot stop it from doing that, and after a while, it crashes
my whole machine.
3. (JS thing) For the site mentioned at item 2, V 3.2.12 does seem to do a
bit better than V 3.2 at handling the 'login' further on the site (I can get
past the front page by using IBrowse, and then copy the help page URL back
to Voyager). It opens up a separate little window with password/login fields
(for some reason they only want to show the help pages to users with a
password - duhh) and a login button. Clicking the login button shows a
'login successful' page in this small window, but I have to refresh the main
window help page manually.
4. I'm experimenting with running a local server (currently trying AWS,
which seems to do fine) in order to test some CGI scripts. If I run Miami
(so I have the TCP/IP stack) and then start Voyager and try to access
http://localhost/index.html (with no local server running yet), it keeps on
switching the status bar really fast between 'sending HTTP request' or so
and something else which I can't make out. Again, I can not stop it from
doing this and after a while, it crashes.
Using Voyager 3.2.12, Miami 3.2 (reg), OS3.5 on '060 A4000T, CyberVisionPPC,
96Mb Fast, bla de bla bla.
