I'm sure that when Mike originally posted his opinion about
installing the fonts he wasn't talking about how easy/hard it
was to install them. I'm sure what he was getting at was how
tedious it all was. In all honesty I found installing the fonts
using Matts guide extremely easy (cheers Matt) but in all
fairness it was as tedious and boring as watching paint dry
(maybe even more so). Having to select each font and then
having to select the sizes felt like a repetitive chore. What I
think Mike was getting at was to have some form of a script
to run which would automatically set up some default True
Type fonts and auto readjust the sizes to a default set
(leaving users to customise at their own leisure if they want
to). Maybe this isn't strictly something for Vapor to do, but
if the fonts are available as freeware, maybe they or a third
party could do something like this. It would definitely make
the Voyager package more rounded.

If you really think about it, anything that makes Voyager
show pages more accurately and as they were intended
should really be part of the Voyager package as standard
(so if legal, maybe this should be a Vapor task after all).

Anyway, that's my opinion :-)
BTW anybody got any idea when this new Voyager engine
is likely to be available or at what stage it's at? Yeah, I
know it'll be ready when it's ready; Just trying to get some
perspective if we're talking about 2 months, 6 months, a
year or over.

Rgds

(waiting exitedly for the new V engine, oh yeah, and the
new Mediator PCI bridge with a PCI graphics card)!!
