Hi, I was in the Netconnect list, but it seems to have died and there is little support on it anymore. Since this is my first post, alas it will be a bit of a big one. I don't want it to seem like a bitching session. I would prefere it to be a "catch up on what I have missed" session. I have been with Netconnect now for a couple of years and been using Voyager. Alas I am confused to what is happening. This is what I see as happened. 1) I got Voyager and it worked, how ever short of features it may of been. 2) Improvements were done and it got better. Some features were disabled in the Beta release. 3) Another beta came out with more bug fixes. The features are still disabled. 4) A new "full working version" is released. 5) Recent Beta releases are MUCH better with their HTML handling. I appreciate Olli's work as I was someone who complained about how Voyager handled HTML layouts. That is fixed in the version I have - I am 99.9% sure. I know I have been back to the site which gave me the error and I remember it didn't anymore, so as far as I know: The problem is fixed. 6) The JAVA handling is getting better too. Alot better than in the beginning. Alas. :-( Since way back I can't scroll on HTML pages with the arrow keys. I can't use F B S R (etc) keys for the buttons at the top of the screen. The _v_ button at the right of the URL list - history? - has not worked for a long time. I understand that getting all these things to work does take effort and time. Where I am confused is why can't these older functions be re-introduced? I am using 3.3.95 and have to keep going to use IBroswe sometimes to get things to work easier. The local file loading is not too good either. If I double click on a HTML file (using OPUS) and sending Voyager the correct things via AREXX, I get a new window but the file is not loaded. There is also a problem with where it (Voyager) puts its documentation. Being a "Netconnect" person, I would expect the files to overwrite the older versions and thus be accessed when I load the Netconnect HTML file. I get "a" voyager documentation file, but I don't think it is THE latest that is applicable to the version I am running. It would also be nice if you could ask Voyager for the URL it is currently looking at. That would make it good for AREXX "leach" programs to be invoked to get files for you. Could anyone please help me get up to speed with these things? BTW, is there an easy way to save an ENTIRE HTML page to my hard disc? (Images, sounds...the lot) I have other questions too, but I don't want to really tick everyone off with my first post.
