Hi,
I seem to be getting a lot of problems when sites open up extra
browser windows. If one of the connection lights at the bottom stays
red (ie: still waiting for connect) and I then close the window, I can
almost guarantee a crash or lockup in the next few minutes. I'm not
too sure if it's when that connection, relating to the window which is
no longer there, finally times out, or whether it's when another new
window opens with the same number as the old one which I closed,
IYSWIM.
This was particularly noticeable with the older V3.3.79. The newer
V3.3.95 behaved better at first but I now think it does it as well,
since I've been looking at some sites lately that open several
windows.
Is this a known or already-fixed problem? Anyone else seen this?
As an aside, a function to force a link to open in the same window,
not a new one, would be handy with some of these sites!
