Hello,
I guess I have two related questions about beta versions.
One question is about carrying our registration to the betas.
The other is about a beta quitting.
The first is, "When we download and install a new beta ver-
sion of Voyager, does our being registered for version 3.2 of
Voyager carry over to the use of the beta?" I have not read
anything clearly stated, one way or the other, any place.
The second is, "I was using beta version 3.3.79 of Voyager,
waiting for a more stable version to come out. True, I was
using Voyager as a backup browser, for those times when AWeb
did not operate right, which meant I did not use Voyager much,
but, I still used it. I tried using it and it said that the
time had expired. I understood this to mean the amount of
time (in months) I could use this. Is this normal? Do all
beta versions have this in them?"
Now, if my having registered for version 3.2 is supposed
to carry over to my using new betas, then I should not have
gotten that expiration notice and its refusal to operate.
Perhaps there is a way to have my registration carry over?
Anyway, I am stumped.
I just downloaded version 3.3.120 beta. I want to install
it. How can I *not* have the same thing happen, as happened
with version 3.3.79?
Thanks.
Regards,
Julian.
