Hmmm. I think that should have been long enough. However, I believe I 
know what the problem is. The default settings for the driver verifier 
may not enable the deadlock detection feature. Try this ...

1) Start driver verifier
2) Select "Create custom settings" and click next
3) Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click next
4) Check the following items and then click next
  - Special pool
  - Pool tracking
  - I/O verification
  - Deadlock detection ( the one we want )
  - Miscellaneous Checks
5) Select "Automatically select unsigned drivers" or select vfilter from 
a list.
6) Reboot and try again
