Hi Torquil,

If you've got the Include rule in there, I don't think you should be getting a 
second 0.0.0.0 route.  Maybe the VPN gateway is sending that route as part of 
the config?

(I don't know anything about the Linux client, so don't take anything I say as 
authoritative.)

sorry, i should have said that i'm using LINUX.

the option "Obtain Topology Automatically or Tunnel All" is unselected and 
topology of
 Include, 172.18.40.0, 255.255.254.0 is used.
