Do you mention the F-Secure software specifically for a reason? Do you
think it is interfering with the VPN connection? The 2.1.7 version of
the software supports Windows 7. Have you tried looking at the debug
level output using the VPN Trace application?

This will at least tell you if the gateway is responding to packets. If
not, you should check to see if packets are being sent by the client.
Its possible that they aren't even making it out of the Windows 7 host.
