The strange thing is that it was working just fine two days ago.
I decided to reboot the router just for kicks to see if maybe something
in memory got corrupted but no joy.
Is there something in the adapter that needs to be disabled? I have a
vague memory of needing to do something along those lines.
I'm connecting over Wireless N.

If you have a wireless adapter on Windows 7, you may need to disable the "Microsoft Virtual Wifi Adapter" under Network Connections.
