I tryed so much things :
- uninstall / reboot / install / reboot
- deactivation of some interfaces (teredo tunneling pseudo-interface, WAN
miniport, Wireless card) then uninstall / reboot / install
- increased the value MaxNumFilters in the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network
I managed to reproduce the problem by installing windows 7 64bits (EN)
with some applications (Office 2010 / Lotus Notes / IZArch / Adobe
Reader), applying all windows updates, installing MUI FR, then installing
shrewsoft. with that procedure, I never managed to make shrewsoft working
If I install windows 7 64 bits (EN) with some applications (Office 2010 /
Lotus Notes / IZArch / Adobe Reader - same as above), and installing
Shrewsoft BEFORE applying windows update and installing MUI FR, shrewsoft
works.
After that, I can install MUI FR and apply windows updates.... it still
works

Thanks for the detailed report! You seem to have done a lot of work
trying different things.
I would try using the Shrew 2.2.0 beta. The 2.2.0 code has specific
fixes for issues with Windows 7. That may make a difference for you.
