Hi Terry,
I tried deleting the adapters then reinstalling Shrew, but the wizard 
uninstalled the software before re-installing itself.
Thanks for letting me know what fixed it for you.

I solved my problem by deleting the two Shrewsoft adapters in Device Manager 
and then re-installing the software on top of itself.  My outbound connection 
worked fine then.
