Hi John,
Thanks for reporting the issue. You will have to forgive me, I'm very
unfamiliar with the nuances of the new Windows 8 interface. There isn't
a 'Manage' menu item in the Access Manager GUI, so I assume you are
referring to a 'Manage' menu item in the Windows 8 interface. When I
click the 'VPN Access Manager' icon in the start menu, Windows 8 then
switches to the Desktop interface and the interface is accessible and
usable. So I'm not exactly sure how to reproduce the issue. Can you
please provide some step by step instructions to help me investigate
this problem report?
Thanks,
-Matthew

Hello,
I installed Shrewsoft VPN client 2.2.0 RC1 under Windows 8. The
installation was successful and also the VPN client icon shows up in the
system tray. It is possible to connect to an existing VPN profile, but
when I try to open the "Access Manager" or the menu item "Manage", no
window comes up. So I can't add, modify or delete VPN profiles. When I
chose the menu item "Manage", nothing happens.
I tried both to install the VPN client: with and without Administrator
privileges under Windows 8. I've got the same problem using version
2.1.7 (last stable).
Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thank you!
Regards
John
