I am having a strange problem I am not able to solve since 2 days.
I am using shrew for a vpn connection since 3 month and it works well on
linux and windows.
Since Monday this week the windows vpn connection doesn't work anymore.
I am still able to connect to the vpn - the connection is established
and I can send any protocoll (like icmp/tcp) to the other side of the
tunnel and can see them on the end system. BUT the returned packets are
no more reaching the windows 7 (64) client. I already rebooted the
system, removed all windows updates since the last days, disabled the
windows firewall and so on but I am still not able to retrieve the packages.
Does anyone here has an idea what could be the issue or how to debug it
further?
Hi Jörn,
What version of the Shrew client are you running? If you're not running
one of the 2.2.0 versions (like 2.2.0beta2), I would suggest you try
upgrading the Shrew client on the Windows 7 machine and trying again.
