I have Windows 7 64-bit.

Turning off the Windows Firewall has no effect that I can see.

The only change that I know of is that I added a connection for a VPN in
the Windows Network Center for a clientless VPN. It is not active but it
is on my system.

Hi Terry,

The Trace Utility shows that at the very least, your Shrew client is not getting a response from the VPN gateway. It doesn't tell us the cause, unfortunately.

One of the first things I would try, since you're using Windows 7, is to upgrade to the Shrew client version 2.2.0-rc-2. The 2.2.0 stream contains a number of fixes for issues with Windows 7.
