Matthew,
Just to let you know : I have a netbook I seldom use, it's still running
Ubuntu 12.04. I still install ike v2.1.5 on it, the stock v2.1.7
supplied by the Ubuntu repositories does not work for me. But I just
revived the netbook recently, updated it completely (in 12.04) : I just
re-installed ike v2.1.5 : and then, I am able to connect in my LAN
without problem.
Do you want me to run some tests for you ?

Hello,
I just compiled v2.2.1 on Ubuntu v12.10 x86_64. Once installed, iked
starts; I start a connection (configured years ago with v2.1.5) with
qikea : tap0 is created correctly, the route is correct; however, there
still is a problem; I am attaching the log.
Until Ubuntu 12.04, I always used successfully ike v2.1.5.
Anybody has a hint ?
Hi Robert,
Phase1 is completing without issue. The peer appears to be having an
issue with the phase2 proposal. Do you have access to the VPN gateway
device? Do you know what make/model or what software IKE/IPsec stack
the client is communicating with?
Thanks,
-Matthew
