I hope sometime they fix it. Standby should not cause IKE Services to
hang.
I standby my machine every night with the VPN connected. When I wake
the machine the next day, Shrew auto-reconnects without an issue.
I wonder if your success may be due to being configured for
auto-reconnect. I and I'm sure others don't auto-reconnect, as I don't
need certain tunnels open all the time. I wonder if the auto-reconnect
does the necessary stuff for a clean startup after sleep...
