Make sure your split-tunnel settings have not changed at either the Client side, or router side. This will cause the loss of general internet access when connected.
Another way to verify this theory is to see if you can access LOCAL LAN resources. Do you have a computer with a shared drive that exists on the LAN on the client side? If you lose access, it's a split-tunnel issue.
