During the installation of the 2.2.2 release on a 64 bit PC (in Hungary) with
Windows7, I needed to add via RegEdit in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\ the entry
MaxNumFilters with a value of 15.
After a month, the user couldn't start Shrew anymore. When looking via RegEdit,
I saw that the entry MaxNumFilters was not present anymore.
I add again this entry, but it still does not work.
On the user PC in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\, I see only
following entries:
(Default)
FilterClasses
MaxNumFilters 15(21)
Should there be more entries and other specific requirements? (on my Windows
8.1 PC, I have more entries)
